Rumble to the Rock 2018 10 year Anniversary Ride


Barcaldine to the Rock   -   29th April to 7th May 2018

 

REGISTRATIONS AVAILABLE UNTIL 15th APRIL - CLOSES AT 5PM

 

Rumble to the Rock 2018. A 10 year Anniversary Ride for the Rumble Riders to support Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. Rumble to the Rock will start at Barcaldine on the 29th April 2018 for registration from 3.30pm to 5.15pm.  At registration time all Shirts will be given out for the ride if ordered in advance.  Your registration fee per person included one shirt, stubby cooler, jacket patch and pin. 


The additional pre purchase of two dinners is required for the ride.

  1. Welcome Dinner at the Barcaldine- Ironbark Inn on Sunday 1st May from 5.30pm. Drinks at your own cost.
  2. Farewell Dinner. Uluru.Drinks at your own cost.

All other meals have not been arranged, but we have a planned to be at different venues each night.

 

Our trip will take us from Barcaldine to Longreach, Winton, Mt Isa, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, and Ulluru. Please note there are a number of tourist destinations that are worth a look along the way.  Please take the time to visit local businesses as well. 

 

Please ensure you book your accommodation direct with the caravan parks. Mention the Rumble riders in the booking. If you have any question please call or email. Please note the website will be updated regular as will finalize each section.

 

Please join the Everyday Hero fundraising campaign linked to our website. You can raise money by your own name with the funds assigned to the Rumble Riders total and the money goes directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. 

 

If you are going on this ride please book your bike services in early at the Alice Springs Dealers.  Friday 4th May.  Check your overall kilometres for your round trip.  Please note the outback roads have a rough edge stones in the bitumen.  Tyre wear may increase more than usual.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR RIDERS

Riders must agree and understand and that the rider and the passenger are aware of the follow points
  1. All riders ride at your own risk.  All riders must ride with a safe practice.
  2. No rider to leave before 7.00am in the morning and all riders to be in to the evening lodgings before 4.00pm.
  3. All riders must understand the dangers and risks involved in riding a motorcycle, and in riding a motorcycle in a group. Please leave enough room between bikes.
  4. These dangers and risks include damage, injury, serious injury and/or death. Knowing and appreciating fully these dangers and risks, the rider/and passenger hereby waive, release and forever discharge, the proceed recipient, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, members of the organizing committee, sponsors, supporters, volunteers and all other associates with the event, of and from all manner of actions, causes of action, suits, debts, claims and demands whatsoever arising from or in connection with Rumble Rider Events.
  5. All riders must hold a valid/current motorcycle riders licence in a State or Territory of Australia or a recognised current International riders licence lawfully recognised in Australia.
  6. All riders must have their motorcycle fully registered and hold a current Compulsory Third Party Personal Injury Insurance in a State or Territory of Australia have Comprehensive Motorcycle Insurance and Third Party Liability Insurance.
  7. Recommend packed weight on a bike is maximum of 9 Kg.  
  8. Registrations fee does not include accommodation or meals. All accommodation must be booked and pre-paid directly to each campsite, Caravan Park, motel etc.
